The Trials We Face

I have been getting ready this week to do a couple of services this week based on James 1:2-3, which says  2 Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. 4 And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.  When trials come our way, some of us give up, we think that God isn't standing next to us anymore, He's not in our corner, He is not their nor is He going to help us.
I don't know all that people go through but God does, though when I see Christians going through these trials I sometimes wonder are they trusting in God?  They seem to have giving up on God, and on God helping them.  Do they feel that God has left them? Do they feel that God is not their for them anymore? I am not sure, I am not God, though I do now as it says in Hebrews 13:5 that  Make sure that your character is free from the love of money being content with what you have; for He Himself has said I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU.   During certain trials we are facing or going through we may feel like Jesus felt when he was on the cross, we may feel that God is forsaking us.  Jesus was dying on the cross, after being beaten but yet God's son still screams out ELI, ELI, LAMA SABACHTHANI MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME.  (Mt 27:46).  We may feel that God isn't in our corner during the trials, we may feel like Jesus felt that his own father was forsaken him, though Jesus tells us inWhenever we feel like giving up remember that Jesus also cried out why are you forsaken me, though God also tells us that He will never leave us nor forsake us.
